Edmonton
This is a second biggest city in Alberta, just after Caglary. Most people work in oil industry, despite that the city has a lot of green areas. Unfortunately it’s not as bike-friendly as I’d like to.
Below you can see Alberta Legislature building.

Churchill square
During my stay every weekend something was happening here. Once it was pro-bicycle day, other time there was some kind of city run. When I didn’t have plans for the weekend I went there.

Activities
City Market at the 4th street is one of my favourite thing. On Saturday, the street is closed for cars, and open for farmers to sell their goods.

West Edmonton mall
I find it hilarious that the tourist guide mentions this as one of the top three things worth seeing in Edmonton. Well, according to the guide it was the biggest Mall in the North America! It has ice rink, aqua park and few more things like that, not usual in other malls.

River valley
River Valley goes all the way through the city. It’s a quite big, green area. Good place to hide from a noisy city.

Few other things that caught my attention

Greens
Did I already mentioned that there are a lot of green areas in the city as well?

Jasper National Park
I took a short break and spent a while in the mountains. There’re plenty of short trails great for a weekend break and some more advanced few-days hiking trails. Just pick what you prefer.

Animals of Jasper
It’s quite likely to see an animal in Jasper. They are not scared of people, often crosses the street even if the cars are coming. Most often you’ll see deers. However if you’ll be more lucky, you can see elks or bears as well! Just be careful.

I have a DSLR back, yay!
